The family in one sentence
Reflection: a shape — or the whole grid — is mirrored across an axis.
A mirror flips left-to-right, top-to-bottom, or along a diagonal. The shape doesn't turn and doesn't move; it flips. If you can imagine a line of symmetry that one side folds onto the other across, you're in Reflection.

What Reflection looks like
- The same shapes appear on both sides of a line — flipped.
- Reflection shows up two ways: per cell (each cell holds its own mirror) and whole grid (the whole 3×3 is symmetric across a central axis).
- The axis can be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal.
The patterns differ only by where the mirror line sits:
- Mirror by column or row — column 0 and column 2 are flips of each other across the middle column (or rows, across the middle row).
- Whole-grid vertical / horizontal — the grid folds left-to-right or top-to-bottom.
- Diagonal / anti-diagonal — the grid folds across a corner-to-corner line.
- Centre-point — each cell pairs with its opposite through the centre.
