See your score instantly
After the last question we calculate your score, break it down by difficulty and pattern type, and highlight your strongest and weakest areas.
Review every answer
Walk through each question with the rule explained, your answer compared to the correct one, and links to deeper pattern guides.
What this test measures
Matrix reasoning is the strongest non-verbal predictor of job performance in aptitude testing. This free practice test draws from the same 3×3 grid format used by SHL, Korn Ferry, McKinsey, Revelian, and Cut-e. Each question tests pattern recognition across rotation, symmetry, positional movement, shape progression, and combined-rule reasoning — five of the most common pattern families in professional assessments.
After the test, your results dashboard shows your score by difficulty and by pattern type, so you can see exactly where to focus your preparation. Each explanation links to the relevant pattern guide for deeper study.
